The Great Divide.

I decided to come back to Colorado after my leg through the Southwest and rest a while.

I just arrived in Colorado with snow on the ground and suitcase in hand.

I have no idea where to go next, but I need a break from the constant movement. I'll be staying with kind friends (and, more importantly, their dog) until I move on to the next venture.

Warmer days from two months ago.

For now, it will be good to stay still, cook in a kitchen, take a dance class, and sleep in a bed that wasn't peed on by a cat or human.

I'm reluctant to stop. I've spent four months getting antsy being anywhere for more than three days. But I need the break. I don't excel at ambivalence, but I'm always up for a challenge.

In the meanwhile ... hey, is that a fireplace?
